There is nothing specifically alarming about unpublished data on 33 of the worst infected individuals, only a month after discharge, with no control data showing lung damage.
It would be more surprising if there wasn't some damage post-hospitalization... Almost any standard inflammatory infection that places someone in the hospital, like pneumonia, can leave non-permanent lung damage behind for 6+ months.

Another question is how many were on ventilators and for how long and how much oxygen mix. High levels of oxygen can damage your lungs and yes I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Once.

I still forget. I forgot to mask up while going to the bathroom while at a restaurant and was stopped. I went back and got my mask but it’s so fucking stupid.
