We? used to care about winning.

Now, we? only care about OKGs, sustainability, & recycling.

Husky football is long dead. Move along everyone.

This. Husky Football is dead and buried under Fetters man tits.

UW wasn't good. They were above average and played a mediocre Purdue team that one a shitty Big 10.

Beat Miami. One of two teams in three years to do so

Beat another top 3 team in Oregon State

That was a GOOD Husky team
Was @Babushka leading that osu team?

Crisp all Saturday Afternoon - morning actually for a 12:30 game

Park in the underground under Red Square

Walk to the HUB for a nice lunch. Maybe a nice salad.

Walk over to the stadium hearing and feeling the buzz as the crowd grows along with the anticipation. See random visiting fans. Give them a classy greeting unless it is Oregon

Get into the stadium and our seats 45 minutes before kick to see all the pre game warm ups and look at the new pups that aren't going to play yet

at 20 minute to go time the band comes marching out of the tunnel and the crowd stirs. They serenade the student section at mid field on the track

Yell leaders do goofy yell leader stuff

No replay board. No video. Lou Gellermen with the out of town scores

HELLO DAWG FANS as the starting line ups are read

Visitors come out first and get booed and have to stand and watch as our DAWGS come out to a full house in full roar.

Game starts. We win more than we lose. Go home and booze

They were pretty good. You can’t lose just 1 game in a season and not be good.

I went to every game that year. Best year of 35 year old Mik Dabones life

I have that hat. Back when the UWAA did a good pregame/tailgate thing that didn’t cost $150 a person for some shitty food and a bar that had a perpetual 30 minute wait

    Both

The real story is my mom. My folks got divorced and she got two tickets. Started going in 73 as a junior in high school. I took over the financing by 1980 or so and we went until 2007

When the got students to tend bar. The pours were generous to say the least. DJ would make an appearance. Husky football is so far from what I enjoyed that I shed no tears over dropping my tickets.

At home before Miami got rolling. And if that game is 5 minutes longer, UW loses.

    But still...

    same.

They scraped by, should have lost to Stanford and were embarrassing at ASU. Pedestrian at Colorado amidst a wildfire and beat a one legged a Purdue team in Pasadena.

Deathly held on for 2 good wins vs Miami and OSU. If either game goes 5 min longer, UW is 8-3 and in El Paso. Let's not pretend that team was something they weren't.
