    Following on twitter it appears there are fund raising irregularities and Ollie North dropped the dime

    Anytime that much money is in play the situation is ripe for abuse and the gun lobby has been an ATM for years.

    I'd probably focus on prosecuting the bad actors not eliminating the organization but I am a centrist like that

    We still got our gun rights whether there is a NRA or not and someone will fill the gap on fundraising anyway

    Seems strange an AG needs to file a lawsuit. Her job is criminal activity. If there are crimes charge them. Otherwise shut the fuck up.

    I would imagine even if charged and convicted, the NRA wouldn't have to dissolve unless ordered to by a judge or its board members vote that way.

    The real reason may be to hamper the NRA's political influence on turning out the vote this election. It'll force then not to spend money with a looming lawsuit. They could probably use some donations.
