I remember watching the game as a kid and going nuts the whole game. I've only watched it once since, and the biggest impression I came away with was how different football is now with instant replay. That game would have taken 10 hours, and half of the biggest plays would have been reversed in favor of Michigan due to the ball hitting the ground.

If you are talking about Neuheisel, UW lost the 1996 Holiday to Colorado but didn't hire Neuheisel until Jan 1999 after Lambo had his ass handed to him by Fisher DeBerry's Falcons. However, Neuheisel was in Hawaii for that game as that was in the midst of couple years the NCAA added the Oahu Bowl...not to be confused with the prestigious Aloha Bowl. Neuheisel's Buffaloes were playing (vs ?) in the Aloha and UW was playing AFA in the new Oahu Bowl.
