This is what the polls are not reporting and the blue kool-aid drinkers will never understand. The more statues they tear down, the more they cry racism, the more they loot and riot, the more votes pile up for Trump in the middle.MikeDamone said:

I'd hazard to guess that more fireworks went off yesterday than in previous years by a good margin. Americans are pissed at the BS and are celebrating their nation. Republican tsunami on the way.
Same with travel. People are saying F off and hitting the road. -
whoever those 1000's were that took the time to call the police just to complain about fireworks need to get a fucking life.

Saw some photographer Facebook page that was taking pictures of people on walks without masks on. These people were outside. I thought most would point out the obvious and say these people were outside and they don’t need a mask, but the majority of the comments were about how selfish this was and that it will lead to another lock down. It’s crazy.UW_Doog_Bot said:

Fireworks calls galore on the 4th. Lefties are upset by freedom and they want a gestapo type response to their wishes. Ask me how I know.incremetal_progress said:whoever those 1000's were that took the time to call the police just to complain about fireworks need to get a fucking life.

But the fireworks are ILLEGAL!

Polls vs. Fireworks. Which is a better indicator of political trends in an election year? I wouldn't read a lot of Trump support into these fireworks. I live up the hill that over looks Richmond, CA. There have been massive amounts of fireworks going off for the past few weeks with the 4th of July being completely nuts in terms of the amount of fireworks being set off. No way Richmond is voting for Trump. What you have in LA and Richmond and Oakland are a large number of people who don't care about following the laws. Doesn't make them Trump supporters.

One thing I can credit those people with is that a much higher percentage of them will turn out to vote (and do turn out to vote generally) than Bernie bros or those who've been protesting the last 6 weeks.Sledog said:

Firework wholesalers ran out of stock on the rez here. Said that stuff wasn't staying on the shelves and I was seeing shelves empty on stands early on the 4th. This is also without Canadians coming down and feeling rebellious from Castro Jr. I think the silent majority is now the silent massive majority. America is done with this shit, all of it.

I just knew the Asians would rally for Trump.Sledog said:
