I wouldn't read a lot of Trump support into these fireworks. I live up the hill that over looks Richmond, CA. There have been massive amounts of fireworks going off for the past few weeks with the 4th of July being completely nuts in terms of the amount of fireworks being set off. No way Richmond is voting for Trump. What you have in LA and Richmond and Oakland are a large number of people who don't care about following the laws. Doesn't make them Trump supporters.

Polls vs. Fireworks. Which is a better indicator of political trends in an election year? You be the judge.Sledog said:I'd hazard to guess that more fireworks went off yesterday than in previous years by a good margin. Americans are pissed at the BS and are celebrating their nation. Republican tsunami on the way.
Same with travel. People are saying F off and hitting the road.
Lots of this for Trump.
Not so much for Sloe Joe!

One thing I can credit those people with is that a much higher percentage of them will turn out to vote (and do turn out to vote generally) than Bernie bros or those who've been protesting the last 6 weeks.Sledog said:

Firework wholesalers ran out of stock on the rez here. Said that stuff wasn't staying on the shelves and I was seeing shelves empty on stands early on the 4th. This is also without Canadians coming down and feeling rebellious from Castro Jr. I think the silent majority is now the silent massive majority. America is done with this shit, all of it.
