I'm more center left in much of what I believe but I find this all too fucking hard to swallow and have from the very beginning. Ive been posting on HCH for years and never stepped foot in the Tug until maybe late February or early March. I couldn't find anyone I know that would listen to me about Covid, lockdowns, numbers, math, science, fear mongering or our overlord Jay. Masks are a joke. I owned a chemical manufacturing company for years. The masks I see people wearing are worthless and would never fly in a plant with airborne solids or VOC's. The gaps around the chin, cheeks and nose are visible from 10 feet. Anything can get in or out. The "designer" masks made of simple woven cotton that you see so many wearing are worthless as a filter. Any mask that is worth its weight can only safely be worn in short stints and costs about 10 times as much as the shit you see people donning. Fauci has vacillated on the wearing of masks. He is right to because he knows the shit people are wearing out there, especially the designer masks with logo's and pictures on them, are a false sense of security.
I always laugh when I see a driver alone in their car wearing a mask. Jeezus some people are unreal.
