Do we still have the Russian Mafia in Seattle? I know that was a big thing in the late 90s/early 2000s with ecstasy trafficking but I don’t feel like it’s been in the news/reported on much in the last 10 years...

I know that Ukrainians run the heroin at the ports here in Portland from a buddy who went from getting his Mechanical Engineering degree at Penn State to pier manager at the Portland docks to paying paid off or GTFO to heroin addict to homeless to prison within 8 or so years. People have been going missing in greater Seattle with little press coverage. They'll run a report for a couple days but then basically drop it. Hope some of the remains provide some closure.
