Most likely working a second job, attending court on a day off, or getting caught up on paperwork- all for $65k/yr. I would say cardio would be more important for cops along with a little Krav Magra training. Hold on to a perp until he tires himself out and then slap zip ties on his legs.RaceBannon said:

I’m sure cutting Police Budgets in half will attract a better cut of individual that can be trained to do these things. Just as the defunding will make such training even possible.
If your goals are to attract better employees that are better trained, you have to pay them more and you have to increase instructors and their salaries as well.
These facts show why the Defund the police crowd is full of shit. They don’t want better police. They want less police so that they can get away with stealing from, assaulting and killing old whitey.
Im not a big conspiracy guy, but the idea that violent government totalitarians want no police is so absurd, a coalescence of power at the top makes much more sense. -

All standards for police have been lowered over the years. Had to be at least 5'9" everywhere some places wouldn't hire that small.
Women didn't usually work patrol and there were very few.
LAPD and everyone else dropped the height requirements.
If I'm in a big bar fight a 5' tall 120lb dude or a chick is not who I want to see coming to help! I've known some good female cops but they can't physically do the same things as men. They weren't meant to.
I could go on for a long time but it's pointless and becoming more so as time passes.
