The neat thing about legality in states like Washington and California is that the police will arrest you for something like this and then let the courts hash it out later. This is approved by most liberals as "an abundance of caution" move where your, or my rights, are secondary to public safety. In this case, I doubt they have such feelings on the matter. I guess Raz is just a more trusted member of the community with different legal protections.

As in bicyclists or motorcyclists? I think the former is far more likely to mobilize to Capitol Hill than the latter
