Ignore science and data that doesn't fit their agenda?

The police fatally shot nine unarmed blacks and 19 unarmed whites in 2019, according to a Washington Post database, down from 38 and 32, respectively, in 2015. The Post defines “unarmed” broadly to include such cases as a suspect in Newark, N.J., who had a loaded handgun in his car during a police chase. In 2018 there were 7,407 black homicide victims. Assuming a comparable number of victims last year, those nine unarmed black victims of police shootings represent 0.1% of all African-Americans killed in 2019. By contrast, a police officer is 18½ times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.

Police unjustifiably kill Americans far too often, and without meaningful consequences. Your quibble is over how much race has to do with it.

Fine that's a point that you and I could both agree on. But the numbers don't show that there is any "open season" on blacks in this country by the police. Why does your party and you lie to your most loyal voting block?

Do we even know if race had anything to do with this latest George Floyd story Dazzler?
If we start demanding an end to unjustifiable killings by police, it won't much matter what motivated them till now.

I know because this is the first time a black person has been killed by a police officer. Meanwhile, in reality...

I must have missed the looting of cities after Tony Timpa was kneeled on and killed by the police when Obama was president.

Dallas police body cam footage reveals the final minutes of Tony Timpa's life

Timpa wailed and pleaded for help more than 30 times as officers pinned his shoulders, knees and neck to the ground in 2016.
It doesn't matter how many of these incidents you present to them. They just repeat the talking points.

If you really want to set a liberal off, ask them what evidence exists that shows Floyd's killing was motivated by race. The cop may very well be an incorrigible racist and he certainly might have killed him due to racial animus but we have zero evidence at this point in support of that. Yet it's now stated as an established fact.
