Furthermore, what does it matter? Dude uses his privilege and his platform to do a shit ton of good. I don't believe it's all a show but even if it is he's still done a lot more good than most in his position. -
You don't know Russell or what is behind his intentions. Nor do I. Paint me skeptical, but I have been around plenty of public "do gooders" to have my reservations. Being a Jesus guy always score points.
I do appreciate that he can give those kids spirits a lift and a smile. That is very generous of him and his time. Their are tons of athletes that do amazing stuff and don't need a camera or social media for other to know how giving they are. The publicity seekers are questionable to me. -

My SIL stepsons (20’s) live next door to Russ. Says he’s very cool and they’ve chatted many times. Typical good neighbor type
He and Ciera do tons with their time and money in the community, directly, out of the limelight
