• Were into marriage more than "hookin' up" or "shackin'",
• Had a lower divorce rate than their white counterparts,
• Had a bastard baby rate < 25%, not one > 77%, and
• Embraced God in their struggles, instead of calling Him an oppressor's creation.
Simply put, some 5 decades ago, America's blacks were a people whose strongest trait was the content of their character. That character broke Jim Crow and segregation, presenting blacks as a people of strength who happened to be a people of color, refusing to be victims, and entitled to the citizenry for which they advocated. That was then.
Now, their God-based strength is gone; only the color remains, along with an incessant victim mentality.
