After the war of the last decade which you could connect to an attack on the USA and the way our citizens and EU governments have reacted...there is no fucking way we or anyone is going to spend the money and lives to defend former soviet satellites. Europe learned some very harsh lessons from WW2. There is no fucking way an attack on a NATO nation will be ignored. Every NATO country would be obligated to go to war, and they would. It's not like Putin would stop at Lithuania.

So you're saying the NATO treaty is as worthless as the paper it's printed on? I don't buy it. The US and EU will send soldiers and money to defend a NATO ally. They want those countries to remain NATO allies, they don't want the USSR to come back, and they certainly don't want Russia attacking Europe.
