    An old friend of mine really let herself go and posts on Instagram all day about how body shaming is inhumane, being fat isn’t really unhealthy, Lizzo is beautiful, etc etc.

    A mutual friend is a personal trainer. We are all at a house party together and Fatty was espousing her lifestyle and the “science” that supports it. The fitness friend offered to help her develop a routine. Fatty lost her shit. She was about to leave but then someone showed up with cupcakes.
    Openly lying to oneself is psychologically damaging, no matter who, no matter what. Your old friend is living a lie and that chicken will come home to roost.
