How Seattle Dies...

Doogie - I live in Tacoma. That bar is incredible. People bashing Tacoma don't get it. It's what Seattle used to be before ultra liberal politics, tech, and traffic ruined it. Beautiful older affordable homes, access to the water, local restaurants and pubs, and people who actually fucking talk to each other. From the North End you can literally walk to many of these establishments below and local light rail being installed will further improve access.doogie said:

and of course, my personal "value" favorite, Loose Wheel. The Loose Wheel would be a hardcore husky favorite with the Steak, Salad, and Side specials under $20.00. A true Ribs and Rickshaw special.
People don't get it.
Downsides:
Lots of petty crime and the occasional murder by machete.
You fuckers bashing tacoma are paying 2X-3X to live in a shitty suburb that has no fucking character and is filled with a bunch of assholes like you. -
Chinned for bashing the fucking suburbs.DoogieMcDoogerson said:

If you work from home you can live @ point Ruston on the water next to the second largest city park with beaches, trails, boat launch, boat rental, bait shop, Yacht Club, zoo, aquarium, for under $1M new
Remote work is going to change a lot of things. -
Agreed. Grew up in the 253 and got sick of it, now appreciate it moreDoogieMcDoogerson said:
