Our problem is the virus seems to be much more spread out than in other countries. In China it was mostly concentrated in Hubei. At least officially I think only 3-4 provinces had over 1,000 cases outside of Hubei. In Italy mostly concentrated in Lombardy. We are upto 15 states at over 1,000 and multiple "hotspots".

The shutting down of almost all of rural American was just a political strong arm gesture to make idiots like Brown or Inslee feel good and virtue signal. They could give a phuck about the private sector working class. Weeks later, they still don't and never will. But the howling over lost tax revenue will be earth shaking once the bite hits some government workers. You would think if you were on a government pension in Illinois you would have sheltered in place and begged the governor to keep the tax dollars keep rolling in.
