2014 Pac-12 OOC Schedules

Here a list to show that every Pac-12 team has a shitty OOC schedule this year (besides UCLA):

Cal
@‌Northwestern
Sacramento State
BYU

Oregon
South Dakota
Michigan State
Wyoming

OSU
Portland State
@‌Hawaii
SDSU

Stanford
UC Davis
Army
@‌Notre Dame

UW
@‌Hawaii
EWU
Illinois
Georgia State

Wazzu
Rutgers
@‌Nevada
Portland State

Arizona
UNLV
@UTSA
Nevada

ASU
Weber State
@‌New Mexico
Notre Dame

Colorado
Colorado State
@UMass
Hawaii

UCLA
@Virginia
Memphis
Texas

USC
Fresno State
@Boston College
Notre Dame

Utah
Idaho State
Fresno State
Michigan

---

Breakdown:
ACC (and Notre Dame): 5 (Notre Dame x3, Virginia and BC)
B1G: 5 (Northwestern, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Rutgers)
Big 12: 1 (Texas)
SEC: 0
MWC: 12 (Hawaii x3, Nevada x2, Fresno State x2, Wyoming, SDSU, UNLV, Colorado State, New Mexico)
Other: 6 (BYU, Army, Georgia State, UTSA, Memphis, UMass)
DI-AA: 8 (Portland State x2, Sacramento State, Idaho State, Weber State, EWU, South Dakota, UC Davis)

We really need to upgrade our OOC for the future and just because everyone is taking a shit with their OOC scheduling doesn't mean we need to anymore.

    This schedule is an embarrassment.

I know college football has changed but I love big OOC games even more than big conference games.

Some of my favorite husky wins were OOC wins like Nebraska X2 and MiamiX2. Those were fun games and our crowds were at a level we haven't seen before or since.

Almost 100% crap and Cal probably loses two of those games. Woody better get used to a half full stadium.

Michigan State is a shitty OOC game huh? They aren't the team the won the Rose Bowl by beating Stanford, were they?

When the stadium is half-filled this September, Kim will blame it on Peterson not having enough pizazz and sizzle.

Yeah well what are you gonna say in September when Fresno beats Sark like a pinata?

THIS... Sark will get lauded ad infinitum by DMC for getting the stadium built and Petersen will get excoriated for not drawing in enough fans to watch Division 3 teams.

Came here to say exactly this. I would love to see Fresno take a fat shit right on Sark's chest. BC too

As others mentioned, UW's schedule is disgraceful. I could see Sark losing 2 of those 3 games.

Anybody know a place that serves a merlot that drinks like a cab and will have these games?......Are any of those games in HD? What channel in Anacortes? What's everybody drinking during the game?

1/2 filled huh...so only 35,000 will show up for a game?

    I'll take that bet.

One good game doesn't make up for the rest of the OOC schedule being shitty.

Why aren't the Coogs playing @ Portland St?

They might draw more than 15k there.

It's so sad and so predictable that we already know that is what Kim will say. I already hear from some Doogs "It's weird that there isn't the same buzz for when Sark was first hired for Petersen. I told him you need to quit reading Doogman. For me this is the most excited I've been for a Husky football season since 2002 the last time we had a real head coach."

Also the facts are ticket sales I think actually went down from 2008 to 2009 granted we just had 0-12 but this whole notion that Sark created Buzz is mostly just pure bull shit.

Wrong. Here is the way I see it. If any team has one OOC opponent out of the 3 that will be ranked in the top 5 nationally, it's not a shitty OOC lineup. HTH. Also, ANY OOC teams that Cal schedules will be better than they are, in particular Notre Dame. So for them, it's all quality OOC teams. USC and Stanford also have Notre Dame scheduled. So every PAC 12 team this year, with the exception of Oregon and Cal (and Stanfurd, USC somewhat) are scraping the bottom of the barrel. Oregon will play a top 5 team. Equivalent to scheduling 3 teams ranked #25.

I'd say the same if it were UW playing MSU.

Awesome, you just made up your own criteria for evaluating a schedule and, OH HEY LOOK, Oregon has an awesome OOC now? It's an ACD schedule. South Dakota went 4-8 last year in DI-AA, which is a solid D. Wyoming is a C level opponent being in the lower half of the MWC the last 2 years. Yeah, I'm thrilled you're playing MSU, it's the best OOC match-up all season,m= but South Dakota and Wyoming are still two-thirds of your OCC and those are dreckfests.

Also, Cal isn't playing Notre Dame, they have Northwestern, Sac St. and BYU, which looks like a BBD schedule. You shouldn't really change the perception of Cal's OOC b/c they are shitty. USC has a nice ABC schedule, same with UCLA. Stanford and Oregon both have ACD. FWIW, Washington is a CCDD which is awful and the reason I made this thread.

Since when is Michigan State a top 5 team? They had their best year I can ever remember them having last year. Most years they aren't that great. We'll see if they are as good as their ranking. Your schedule is better than UW's, but it still sucks. You are playing South Dakota and Wyoming. Get rid of South Dakota and put a real team in and I will call it a good schedule.

Phil Bleenor went on a Doogman rant about how happy he was with the home schedule and how his club seats are such a great value considering he gets UCLA, Stanford, and ASU.

When you have retards like him as fans there's no way Woody grabs his nutsack and schedules REAL OOC competition.
