The second picture of if Habbibbi-Liekio, or whatever.
Verdell is a good back; Habbibbi is a talent-less hack. -
Yeah the second player is clearly #33.creepycoug said:The second picture of if Habbibbi-Liekio, or whatever.

The subject is Oregon running backs. They were very successful against Washington. It’s too bad I hurt your feelings.

Cyrus is a good running back. He is a great compliment to Verdell and Dye. If you don’t realize he has been effective you aren’t paying attention. Just watch the replay of the Oregon/Washington gamecreepycoug said:The second picture of if Habbibbi-Liekio, or whatever.

Cyrus ain't flashy and he won't play on Sundays. But he has an absurd TD/Att ratio because he's a weapon inside the 20 and bringing him down is like trying to tackle a giant amoeba.creepycoug said:The second picture of if Habbibbi-Liekio, or whatever.

That he played that well against Washington is more of an indictment of Jimmy Lake Shitballz and Washington's defense than it is a statement about 33's talent. If they're not, Washington should be embarrassed.DJDuck said:

Let me put it this way: if 33 were your featured back, your running game would be fucked. He's extremely limited. He can be productive in short yardage, but even there he's not like some giant powerful guy who can run over people. He's neither that or a break-away threat.
Dude's a scrub. Verdell is a good back. He's actually a very good back and runs as hard any back I've watched the last couple of seasons. His only drawback is that he gets dinged up a little too often, but he has a hard and punishing run style and can break big runs on you. Very good back. Dye, for as small as he is, runs hard. He need help to get beyond the LOS, but he makes the most of what he has and can hurt you if you give him a crack of daylight.
33 ... not my cup o' tea. Classic try-hard player. -
You are ignorant. NorthwestFresh was right on. Cyrus is not our featured back but he sure made some of your DB’s look silly. They were mere hurdles for him. I detect a bit of jealousy in the fact Washington has at best a mediocre RB corps coming back. Whiner’s like you are music to the ears for Duck fans. I love Cyrus.creepycoug said:

I call 'em like I see 'em you old pig fucker. 33 is a unathletic back with no burst or speed of any kind, and limited power. Comparing him to Blount is a fucking joke.DJDuck said:

Tell ye what: let's come back to this thread in a while. If 33 even makes a roster as an UDFA, I will leave the Duck Forum forever, and ever. If he doesn't, and he won't, you have to hang yourself in your carport.
Deal? -
You call ‘me like you see ‘em but you are a blind fuck. Ignorant morons like you are amazing.

Maybe you should look at your own mediocre running backs and their speed before you shoot your ignorant moth off. It looks like Davis tried to run track for Upland and he could only post a 13.9 100 meters as a sophomore and must have given up.😂

At 4.72 Newton is a real burner too. 😂

And of course this is comparing our 3rd string 3rd down inside the tackles back to your probable 1st and 2nd string you moron.

Here is a great article from “The Athletic” you ignorant young punk. They call ‘em as they see ‘em 😂😂😂😂
Film Room: It’s time for Oregon to unleash the beast that is Cyrus Habibi-Likio
“ It’s time for running back Cyrus Habibi-Likio to take center stage in Oregon’s offense.
This is not to dismiss the talents of CJ Verdell or Travis Dye, but it’s become clear that the bigger, more physical Habibi-Likio has earned the right to be used like the valuable commodity that he is, especially on a roster where big backs are at a premium.
He’s too good to be an afterthought any longer. Too good to be relegated to goal-line duties. Too good to not receive a carry for an entire first half, as he did Saturday at Washington.””
“ Habibi-Likio demonstrated in one half of football at Washington that he can do it all except for taking a gallop to the house while displaying true long speed, the type of speed where nobody is going to catch up except maybe an equally fast cornerback.
But that’s OK; those types of runs are few and far between. Once the blocking is taken care of, a consistent rushing attack requires a back who demonstrates consistent vision, cutting ability and the ability to finish runs going forward.
In no way does any of this mean that Verdell and Dye should take a back seat. Verdell leads the team with 507 yards and is averaging 5.6 yards per carry. Dye has 348 yards at 6.1 per carry. They need the ball in their hands. But so does Habibi-Likio. Although he isn’t as big Jonathan Stewart, as powerful as Royce Freeman or as fast as James, he is large, he is powerful and he is plenty fast enough. Plus, he’s the only running back on the roster who has all three of those traits. In addition, he has the heart and desire to lay it all on the line for his teammates.”

Your opinions and knowledge of college football in general are pathetic let alone the Ducks in particular.
Isn’t it funny that “The Athletic” chose to do an article about the one particular player on Oregon’s team you think is not talented. You are an imbecile.
Your the one that is taking his medicine right now you dimwit.

That's a lot of work and energy for an old man defending a guy with 330 rushing yards on the season.DJDuck said:Here is a great article from “The Athletic” you ignorant young punk. They call ‘em as they see ‘em 😂😂😂😂

Are you saying your head coach, Mario Cristobal, doesn't know how to spot and use talent?
I'm not going to sit here and listen to you bad mouth Crisco you senile old fucker.
Habbibbibi-Leakeeo is a slow no-talent try-hard. No burst. None. Limited game.
Move on now boy. -
Well I guess you are going to have to sit and listen to the truth creepy moron. You can’t even find any evidence for your point of view young motherfucking punk. I wouldn’t trade our 3rd string, 3rd down between the tackles back for any of your pitiful running backs. If their times are accurate I was faster than they were as a HS running back. 😂😂
I’m not going anywhere. This is a Duck forum fucking Creepymoron. You are the one trolling here. You just are too ignorant to realize it.
Cyrus Habibi-Likio emerging as a trusted and valuable running back for No. 11 Oregon Ducks

330 yds.
slow. no burst. runs nobody over.
330. -
Verdell is good. But gets tripped up too easily.
Dye fumbles too much and is meh
Cyrus is mediocrity defined. But a good kid.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Benson is the #2 back by end of his first year.
Also, does dj think creep is a husky? -

He runs downhill and hits the hole hard and asks questions later. He's not a vision runner who sets up his blocks like an Emmit Smith nor is does have the stop and go suddenness and wiggle like a Barry Sanders. He's a bit of blue collar runner who makes a little adjustment at the line, at most, and goes as hard as he can. I would complain less about his tripping, because he almost always trips forward for 2 or 3 more yards, and more about his tendency to get hurt. He misses a lot of snaps and he's far and away Oregon's best runner. I think he just runs harder than his body can really handle.ntxduck said:Verdell is good. But gets tripped up too easily.

When I think of Verdell, I think of the polar opposite of Ahmed. I'd take 1/2 a Verdell over 3 Ahmed's every time.
