- the Koreans were able to test 10,000 quickly because they all lived on the same block. Testing in the USA will take a while longer
- as a vet, I get a free pine box or $xxx towards cremation. Mrs Lebam says she is just gonna put me on top the burn pile

I don't think God or Allah wants to plague people anymore. We're in a new age
That's the hardest I've laughed in weeks. God that's funny. -
Mass testing is ok... the media telethon style tote board is freaking people out.GrundleStiltzkin said:

Just as it would if we announced other disease diagnosis and death on a split screen all day.
Maybe each town should blast a cannon with every death, hunger games style

Here we report on the putative history of community transmission in Washington State as revealed by genomic epidemiology. We conclude that SARS-CoV-2 was circulating cryptically, ie undetected by the surveillance apparatus, in Washington State since January 2020, and we underscore the following recommendations in settings where large-scale community transmission is not yet recognized: the importance of early identification of the virus, extensive testing of potential cases, and immediate self-isolation of infected persons.

I was woefully wrong about "short-term" though. -

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that those countries reacted "hysterically". China completely locked down cities using the iron rule of authoritarianism in order to prevent the spread. South Korea was able to mobilize 10,000 tests per day in order to get an accurate assessment of the situation. Asians are just better at this than we are. I prefer the tone of Trump to the bed wetters
Meanwhile our Congress is talking about recess while POTUS whines on twitter about the global scheme of the democrats to bring down the world economy in order to hurt his reelection.
I support Trump's payroll tax hiatus, and any other stimulus that offers relief to those who can't afford to miss work and could potentially further the spread due to financial constraints. Hopefully neither McConnell nor Pelosi get in the way of that. I'm not holding my breath.
Asians start these flu scares
Trump restricted travel back in December

Did he do anything else to prepare for the epidemic like ramp up testing, prepare containment plans, or help hospitals get ready for the onslaught of new patients? -

He's not losing to Crazy Joe. Americans won't vote for a drooler.
Dems know this - that's why they are going to kick him to the curb 'for health reasons'.
It's a matter of weather Crazy Joe gets his last lap at the virtual convention or if they off him prior. But he's not making it to November.
Take all the screeenshots you need.
