If there was a year to not have football that could actually benefit UW, it would be this year. No transition year to Huard.

    Good poont.

I dont think not having a college football season would have any affect on them staying or leaving. If anything, it helps UW because it would give them a year away from home (if they pick another school), not playing football to realize they want to transfer back home

They'd just start the football season in December or whenever

My understanding is both are leaning aOSU because aOSU is a winner, and only Lake pulling out a winning season in '20 would make UW a contender. No season, all they have to go on is 4-5 vs. CFB playoff. There's really no downside to playing the season. How could it possibly be worse than 4-5?

No chance. What would they do for the next season?

Timelines can be adjusted. Lost revenue can't.

Dumb overreaction. We aren’t even through March yet...people are thinking we should make decisions on next fall/year based on a couple weeks of a shutdown. See where we are at the end of April before making any decisions like this...

Lay it out for us. It's not you have anything to do. Revise the schedule for us!

here's what I think will happen... the completely apples & oranges non-conference schedules will be cancelled and an 8-game conference schedule will take place.

Here’s how I I would do it...conference champs from the power 5 conferences get a first round bye.

    Wait. What was the question?

Herb's an idiot and wants the clicks. Does he think there will be no season after 5 months of this??? Where we already have a drug that is proving to knock this thing out, better testing on the way, and the SUMMER still to come.

    Fuck off Herb.

Non conference is cancelled. Teams use September to practice and begin conference play in October.

With no September we'll lose the Michigan and Oregon games.

Summer will surely be the end of it. Spring is trying but doesnt quite have the horsepower.

Oregon still has to happen during a bye week or something.

You lose Michigan and the 2 shit tier opponents we shouldn't be playing anyways.

Who the fuck cares what Herbstreit thinks. What’s important and most accurate is what Kim thinks. Anyone?

Nobody knows what things are going to look like a month from now much less 5 months from now ...

The "concern" about the Fall/Winter would be the virus coming back ... it's a fair concern

Here's what we don't know (in no particular order):

    1) What herd immunity looks like at that point

    2) What the treatment situation looks like - are we able to treat and move on

    3) What are steps taken to limit further outbreaks

So many question marks ... but what we know for sure is that college football depends on gate receipts and going a full season without CFB revenue will be crippling for a number of programs.

i love we are using terms that typically apply to livestock on humans
