I’m sure glad I don’t have to pick up a damned gas pump that has been used by hundreds of other people. 😁

You sound like a vulnerable population

I am, over 70 with underlying health conditions. So that’s one more thing I don’t have to worry about. I also like to sit my lazy ass down in my seat and listen to music while someone else pumps my gas AND...........not get bacteria, virus and gasoline all over my hands but to each his own.
If one loves to pump his own gas have at it. -
If you’re getting gasoline all over your hands when you pump gas, you’re doing it wrong.
Also, do you just not pay for your gas or are you still handing him your card which he will touch and hand back? -
Gas nozzles without any gas spilled on them by others. Those are amazing places you have been going to. Credit cards? Wow what a danger. Can’t clean them. I use cash and wash my hands. It sounds like you just enjoy pumping your own gas. Hey If you like getting out in the rain and cold to pump your own gas. Have at it. Like I said to each his own. If you are arguing that pumping your own gas doesn’t expose you more than not you are a moron.DoogCourics said:If you’re getting gasoline all over your hands when you pump gas, you’re doing it wrong.

“With the worldwide spread of COVID-19 or the coronavirus and two cases in Utah, many are going to great lengths to avoid the spread of germs in public places. Several studies suggest that pumping gas could put you at risk of catching the virus.
According to UPI news, a study conducted by Kimberly-Clark Professional showed that gas pumps are among the germiest surfaces in American cities. The study found that 71 percent of gas pump handles were found to have high levels of contamination.”
