Has anyone mentioned The Replacements? Not a blockbuster but an enjoyable film.

Varsity Blues pretty good, especially with the teach...dayum. I’d gave her a 10 as well.

Friday Night Lights a little better tho imo.

I just watched Out of the Furnace for the 3rd time. Christian Bale, Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck, Zoe Saldana, Sam Shepard, Forest Whitaker, and Willem fucking Dafoe.

I highly recommend it if you want to feel awful for 2 hours.

You guys are doing well but I haven't seen Semi-Pro. Jackie Moon as the do it all owner, team GM, coach, player, halftime entertainment. Woody as the crusty vet who cucks his #1 fan. Andre 3000 as Coffee Black.

We can't be friends if Louden Swain and his main squeeze don't make the list.

Surprised with all the fags in here there was nobody pimping wrestling.

Second vote for Vision Quest. Way decent for the 80s.

I didn't see basketball diaries listed. It has basketball in the name, and I guess that's a sport, but I dont remember much being played in the movie. Therefore I wouldn't include it. I typed all this for nothing.

The original Vision Quest book is actually better.

Vision Quest movie soundtrack is right up there at the top of all-timers. Lots of great 80's tunes. Dio, Journey, Sammy, young hot Madonna.

Lunatic Fringe, I know you're out there.....
