Trump created an unnecessary crisis. Iran is now no longer abiding by the nuclear agreement and will move towards a nuclear weapon. The US has been expelled by Iraq and there is as of now no indication that we are actually leaving. This isn't over and we are far closer to war than we were just days ago, and way closer than we were when the JCPOA was established.

    How’s WWIII going?
    let's hope it never happens.
You would love for trump to do something stupid like that. We all know it. It's looking like it's the only path to prevent his election is to start a war. Now that that's off the table it's time to try to make up something else.

It is very good that Trump took the off-ramp because he appears to realize how stupid and pointless a war with Iran would be. But without promise of sanctions relief for diplomacy everything is still on a knife’s edge. “Maximum pressure” has completely failed and now Iran says it will no longer abide the nuclear deal limits. He created an unnecessary crisis in the first place and now everyone wants to give him credit for pulling back at the last minute, yet there’s no sign that he understands that the hawkishness got him to this point in the first place.

    Go fuck yourself.
No counterpoint, predictable from a “lightweight K*nt”. We’re still at the most precarious point in US-Iran relations in decades because of Trump’s policies.
So what do you propose? Trumps gambit worked brilliantly. Do you prefer doing nothing and letting them get a nuclear weapon?
How did it work “brilliantly”. The Iranian people are more united behind their leadership now than before. Killing Soleimani may be a symbolic win but not a strategic win. He’s not irreplaceable.

The nuclear deal was working but now it is on its last legs due entirely to Trump and we have to hope that Iran does not rush to the bomb. It looks like they probably won’t so far but do you feel comfortable with that?
Are they now? You know this for a fact?
Ah are you going to tell us that the millions of people who thronged the streets for the funeral procession were there because they were forced. Keep swallowing the Iran war lobby’s talking points.
This has gotta be some kind of ad prop account or someone watching RT tv on repeat right?
He only posts to support Iran on a Husky football website
But how fucked up must you be to always root for the enemy?

How dare anyone comment on the #1 news story in the world right now. I lurk the football board but don’t care to post.

Better than posting in support of Donald Trump, a person who could not and will not ever give a shit about someone like you.
By the way who in the fuck does give a fuck about someone like me?

I have no beef with the Iranian people. No Iranian ever called me white trash

A lot of people get paid by the government to show up in the streets. A lot of college and HS students also participate. Some go because of peer pressure. They don't want to look like non-believers or anti-government. You have to play the game and keep your nose clean if you don't want to be harassed by government goons.

They also bus people in from outlying villages for these demonstrations. These people are mostly poor. Give them a little cash and feed them and you've got yourself a crowd.

Yup... You keep a low profile and do as the Romans do. Otherwise, who knows what might happen to you.

Just look at the number protesters who were mowed down last year. Incidentally, that's how the revolution started in 1978. Protesters were mowed down by soldiers.

Eventually the soldiers don't want to kill protesters. They turn on the government. Armories get raided, because soldiers let the protesters in. Once the resistance gets a few weapons, things turn.

The mullahs are in trouble and they know it.

    Ask me how I know.

Yes yes they will greet us as liberators and all that.
    Sit this one out, guy

I knew the tug leftists would be disappointed that trump didn't start WWIII, I just didn't think it would be so soon.
They really wanted a bunch of dead Americans so that they could blame Trump.

MSNBC supposedly reported 30 Americans killed in the missile attacks even though the pentagon had said there were no casualties.

    Fake news.
