They changed up the zone... were much more aggressive on the ball handler, doubled anything that got close to the rim and recovered super well on perimeter shooters. I wanted to pull my hair out when they were just letting anyone with the basketball drive at them... can't do that when you're up in their ass.
I think they're also realizing Roberts is going to give you so much more than Hamier ever will. It's nice to have a 6'11 guy who can pass/move like he's 3.
They were missing an energy guy and Roberts delivered in a big way. -

Maybe the embarrassing loss to UCLA at home was the fuel Hop needed to light a fire under this team’s ass. Totally different look than we’ve seen recently. They can cover a lot of their flaws with above average effort.
