Played golf with Jeff Thomas. He’s a Coug, but he’s a great guy and was Don Beebe’s best man at his wedding. He’s also second cousins once removed with Ahmed’s high school offensive coordinator. As for technique, Ahmed improved this year, but was never that good. Tiny McGrew has much better technique.
His speed in the open and around the end will be missed, and that's a lot for this team. But between the tackles, it's addition by subtraction.
