Basic insulin is not expensive. It's all the bells and whistles that provide marginal improvement over an individual who is trying to monitor blood sugar levels. That and the crony capitalism bar of importing foreign drugs into the US. Get that fixed and drug costs in the US would plummet and they would rise for the rest of the world. MAGA.

She get her basic insulin at Walmart? I agree that big Pharma will screw you if they get government permission. Price controls don't work. Competition does. The increase in insulin costs is a crony capitalism at its worst. There are lots of solutions. I hope they find a cure for Type I, and the inventor gets phu*cking filthy rich. That's the proper solution. Does you daughter have an insulin pump?
