Ask yourself why they made this move.

If anything I would say it’s more likely that Gregory is gone if they are Not spending a ton to backfill Jimmy. They can pay bob his buy out and bring in a decent linebacker coach.

I think bob is maybe trying to get a d coordinator job With the Coug or somewhere similar and if he doesn’t get it somewhere he will be relieved shortly thereafter by lake and head off to a retirement of rock climbing and other stuff white people do.

Why would Gerald reinvent the DB coaching room? He played under Lake in the NFL and was a GA under him. My guess is either GA is going to get a big raise at Cal or he's going to land a DC role somewhere.
