    Would probably be the wrong fit, but he would be the best coach you have had since Butch Davis. You wouldn’t be going 7-6 anymore. At least not after the first year.

    I don't disagree. But Toothy likes to keep things NW appropriate. Miami is at its best as a program when it has a little edge to it. He'd just be a terrible cultural fit. They need somebody who has done well at a lesser program and is hungry to use them as the next step in his career. I was convinced that was Al Golden, who fit that description to a T. But as we've said, this coaching business is a fucking crap shoot.
