When questioned the rats said they didn't know that was against the law.

Now that they know it is against the law, does anyone believe they would hire a Republican?

Imagine if a Republican did this. Worse yet, imagine being a Rep and getting a fair shot at a job working for the City of Portland, Google, Yahoo, City of San Fran, Chicago, NYC or any lib main stream media. Hell, you can throw into that heap 90% of the Universities around the country.

Joliet Township Job Ad Asked For Applicants Who ‘Voted In A Democratic Primary Election’

A help-wanted ad in the suburbs raised eyebrows this week – with its suggestion that only Democrats need apply.

Such a restriction would be illegal.

The ad was posted by the Joliet Township government. They are looking for a part-time deputy town clerk.

The ad lists all the standard requirements and a job description that involves filing and answering phones.

But here’s the whoopsie – it says the candidate must have “voted in a Democratic primary election.”

Hot Air explains why they can’t do that:

This is obviously a problem According to the Illinois Equal Employment Opportunity Law, they can’t do that. The second sentence in the state’s public policy statement reads, “Political affiliation and views will not be considered in hiring, assignment of work, evaluations, or discipline (including termination).”

When the local CBS affiliate contacted the township, they were told that the office wasn’t aware that the requirement was against the law. They’ve since removed the requirement from the job listing. But the cat is pretty much out of the bag now, right?
