It's so entertaining watch the Dems shoot themselves in the foot. They are benching their best players a batting their worst in the 1,2,3 slots in their lineup. 2020 election night Twitter meltdown is going to be great. The SJW groupthink tank on that thinks they already have it won, hell, half think Trump is already gone because he got impeached.

the 2 candidates who consistently beat trump in head to head polling, sanders and biden, are currently 1 and 2 in the polls. So your point is really not a good one.

Not sure who you are reading these days but you need to catch up. Biden and Bernie aren't polling ahead of Trump, it is just the opposite. And this all comes during the rats brilliant move of impeachment at all cost. It renews some faith in the American people. The rats said they were going to impeach Trump before he even took office and have voted 4 times internally whether to impeach or not. When the impeachment finally happened it looked just and rigged and contrived as it was and many were turned off by the rats blatant attempt to take away the rights of 63 million voters, that idiot biden and the screeching socialists slid behind in the polls..

Polls this early are worthless by the way.

  • do you even pay attention? the Average was Clinton +3.2 and the result was Clinton +2.1

Right. So what does that tell you in light of current polls? Dems will take Cali and NY again, but the map will be Red AF again, with the EC being the only thing that matters.

Like I said, polls are worthless a year out.

Man, look at the numbers for ABC New "Tracking" (WTF were they tracking?) Associated Press, NBC, CNBC, USA Today. 14 days before the election and they had The Bitch by an average of 9.6.

In typical fashion, after the election the pollsters blamed part of their fuckup on the voters who were reluctant to admit they were voting for Trump. Elitist liberals will never claim their bias or their own mistakes and in this case they tried to make Trump voters look bad and take the blame. Just more of the same old elitist shit.

What is your solution? You speak definitely that it won’t help. But until we try I don’t know that we can say that with such certainty.

I’m open to ideas, and the reason I support him is that I think he is too.
It’s old. It’s tired. But it’s fact that most of the areas with the most gun restrictive laws also have the most gun violence. Background checks are standard fare in most areas already.

I would trade vague definition and banning of “assault weapons” for a chain of custody law to make more gun owners take steps to secure their weapons so that their crazy kids and family members would have less chance of sneaking a gun out of the closet and blowing away innocents.

That’s an after the fact solution, I know. But when somebody’s buddy/family member goes to prison for allowing their gun to leave the house to commit a crime. People would take much better care to lock up their guns.

I’d say at least 20% of the people who voted for Trump in 2016 still haven’t admitted it. Look for a bigger number post 2020 election.

There is always a polling bias when it comes to data collection. There was an article last year that detailed like the top 10 pollsters and their skewed sampling for data when it came to Trump and impeachment polls. All of them except one skewed to majority democrat. That doesn't happen by accident. When I was part of political polling (when I was a democrat), we routinely polled democrat heavy districts because we could get more cooperation. Rats will pick up the phone and talk because it gives them time to vent their feelings. Reps not so much. Time is money so you get the amount of responses you desire and calculate the margin of error to compensate for your over abundance of rat responses. No one reads the details on polls, most would never know what a margin of error means. Most don't even care that the majority of polls are full of shit because it is biased toward the left, they just want to see the results of a poll that really means nothing. This is exactly what we saw in the 2016 election. I read some of the data on some of those polls (because that interests me) and I was amazed at how skewed to the left they were. It was like a bunch of liberal pollsters were afraid to call the big bad Republicans so they went to their buddies the rats.

Out of character for me but I'm 100% on board with subsidies for gun safes and other security for gun owners. The statistics are stark as negatively correlated between gun violence and the usage of safes.

So you wish to punish people who were the victims or crime? You applying this same principal to knives, clubs, bats, crowbars, pointy sticks, automobiles or anything else used in crimes against persons?

It takes a special kind of person to want to jail people for being a victim. Let's punish the criminals of all classes. The left has decriminalized crime and now want to blame the victims of crime. That takes some massive mental gymnastics.

Also apply all the requirements for gun purchase to voting and personal identification. Let's see rats back some common sense voter fraud laws.

Corellation doesn’t mean causation. Who is more likely to own a gun safe? A white male accountant or a black gang banger? A black male accountant or a white meth addict? A gun safe would protect a gun from being stolen by a criminal or used by a family member, like a child but this isn’t where the murder stats are. The white murder rate for gun deaths is very low. I’m not arguing against gun safes, but they aren’t a national panacea for our gun murders. I also don’t have a problem with a criminal negligence case, in certain circumstances, if an irresponsible gun owner allows a gun to be taken by a family member and used in a murder.

The thrust of the gun control advocates is to get guns out of the hands of white males. They could give a sh*t about dead gun victims.
