How can Alonso be overrated? He's had arguably the best pro career of any Duck on that Rose Bowl team.dnc said:
I can think of several Ducks more overrated than that guy. -

Tui would have moral victoried our way to a 10 point loss to @creepycoug had it not been for Bin Laden. Thank god we had @Swaye to even the score.RaceBannon said:
Brittle Brock got hurt against Nebraska in 97 and Lambo had nothing other than true frosh Tui. The 4 game rule would have been awesomeYellowSnow said:
Can you even imagine a 3 year starter (or even 4) Tui from 20(15)16- 18? His legs alone have beaten Stanford, ASU, Cal and Oregon in 2017- 18 and probably won a NY6. Tui was the greatest big dick, dual threat we've ever had in my life time.dnc said:
I think there's a good argument that John Ross 2016 was the most valuable season any Husky has put up since Tui 2000, and perhaps Empterman 1991.RaceBannon said:I picked Ross because he was the reason for the best offense and season that Pete had here. I know Ross only did it one year but what a year. Any defense had to account for him over the top and before he punked out or got hurt Browning loved to go there. The other receivers and the run game benefited.
We haven't replaced that deep threat so far and it showed
Lambo never quite figured out how to use him and did not red shirt hi in 98. Rick didn't know how to use him either but was smart enough to listen to Tui ad Coniff
The what if at the time was what if Tui had eligibility in 2001? History could have changed
Tui in 2016 would have run that Bama defense ragged and the triple option deep pass to Ross would have been a staple -
Washington was not getting out of the Orange Bowl with less than a 40. Tui wasn't going to help you deal with Portis, Johnson and Shockey, and he wasn't going to block Vince Wilfork or run by or around Jonathan Vilma and DJ Williams. Not sure I like his chances throwing to Todd Elstrom and Reggie Williams with Ed Reed lurking around. Tui was a player but Reed would have been a nightmare for him since he wasn't known as being a great reader of defenses. Pickett was a better pure passer anyway and he had a rough night.YellowSnow said:

It really was maybe the best offensive season in UW history. Can’t remember anyone being as consistently dominant. It was almost every game.RaceBannon said:I picked Ross because he was the reason for the best offense and season that Pete had here. I know Ross only did it one year but what a year. I've always thought that Bin Laden ruined the Mariners magical season as wellYellowSnow said:

Broke the momentum then facing New York in the aftermath of them coming together was too much for the local 9
