Overrated: Sean Parker. Hooray! An ESPN signing day announcement! Missed tackles, blew coverages, had everyone at Doogman thinking he was a draft able player though.
Underrated: Justin Glenn. Made evry play Parker missed. Love him. All Dawg and still a part of the program.
Best: Myles. Mother. Fucking. Gaskin. Argument could be made he's the greatest Husky of all-time.

I've chatted a bit with Justin Glenn it real life. Solid dude.

He's one of my favorites of all time because no one ever talked about him but he never fucked up

Vita was a good choice. I probably would have gone with MMFG though. 4 years carrying a semi retarded QB.
I considered him too but I think RB is generally overrated so I went with something with more positional value. He has a very strong case though.
I would disagree, I think gaskin would have help win 2+ more games this year.
I agree. His mastery of the wildcat would have saved us at least twice (assuming health).
I'd also argue his mastery of the wildcat made us over reliant on it and our chinability to make adjustments and realize not everyone is Gaskin cost us dearly.

Bush and Pete are fucking retards. That is the only reasonable explanation.

No doubt.
Just saying while we win more games with Gaskin this year than we did, I think we still *could* have won those games without him. One of the innumerable ways the coaching staff failed this year is by not realizing that some of what Gaskin did was irreplaceable and we'd need to tweak the scheme without him.
I picked Ross because he was the reason for the best offense and season that Pete had here. I know Ross only did it one year but what a year. Any defense had to account for him over the top and before he punked out or got hurt Browning loved to go there. The other receivers and the run game benefited.
We haven't replaced that deep threat so far and it showed

I think there's a good argument that John Ross 2016 was the most valuable season any Husky has put up since Tui 2000, and perhaps Empterman 1991.

Can you even imagine a 3 year starter (or even 4) Tui from 20(15)16- 18? His legs alone have beaten Stanford, ASU, Cal and Oregon in 2017- 18 and probably won a NY6. Tui was the greatest big dick, dual threat we've ever had in my life time.

HUGE DISAGREE
Tui was super turnover prone and good at making huge mistakes before his senior year. I don't know that four years of Tui would have been all that much better than what we just witnessed. Whatever year was Senior Tui would have been magical*, though.
*Except that there's no reason to believe this staff would have adjusted the offense to play to his strengths. This is the one thing RN doesn't get nearly enough credit for regarding 2000, IMO. He junked the scheme that got him the job because the QB had a different skill set. That humility and flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to win is what makes me love RN always and forever.
Hell, would Tui have ever even started at QB under Pete?

Brittle Brock got hurt against Nebraska in 97 and Lambo had nothing other than true frosh Tui. The 4 game rule would have been awesome
Lambo never quite figured out how to use him and did not red shirt hi in 98. Rick didn't know how to use him either but was smart enough to listen to Tui ad Coniff
The what if at the time was what if Tui had eligibility in 2001? History could have changed
Tui in 2016 would have run that Bama defense ragged and the triple option deep pass to Ross would have been a staple
Comments
I almost went Ross for best but he was really only excellent for one year. Vita had a bigger career impact IMO.
Underrated- Lake

Under rated - Gaskin
