Rumor is Oregon brought up race again to land Flowe. If anyone deserves to get screwed, it's Johnny Nansen.

    Damn.

Mario is like if @Dennis_DeYoung or @LaMichael_Corleone were college coaches.

Is that what you're hearing from Kim's hot blonde intern?

Glad I came to the thread late to see @RaceBannon & @dnc make up as I scrolled, rather than have to wait agonized minutes
  • creepycougcreepycoug Member Posts: 24,008

Yeah there's this perception in LA right now that Nansen favors poly linebackers for playing time and heard Oregon ran with that perception and used it to close. It also doesn't help that Flowe didn't have a great relationship with Nansen but man does Oregon will saying anything to get a recruit. I guess that what makes Mario a great closer. As far as Ringo, I have no clue.
Doog post of the day. I guess you're back to "Golly gee. Washington is doing it the right way." JFC. It's almost like you don't know that recruiting is a competitive business.

Listen, I don't recall anybody ever bitching about Cristoball's recruiting tactics at any prior stop, and he's been a known quantity to me since the late 90s when he was instrumental in putting together one of the best talent runs at one program in cfb history. Didn't he get some award for being an elite recruiter at bama? At bama??? Nobody says anything off color down south, right? When he went with Schiano to Rutgers, he was stealing guys from the Florida big 3 left and right, and nobody, not even the Miami people, who are are most likely to be pissed about it, ever spread innuendo.

I've been saying this since the early scout days: few fans can curmudgeon and sour grape like a Washington Husky. Your last few posts have been @Ballz-level embarrassing.

These dirty tactics are very coming in other major conferences. The Pac 12 will have to adjust. There's winning the right way, and just flat out winning. Everybody wants to win the right way, but people will settle for just flat out winning.
There is nothing dirty going on. None of these doogs have ever been in a room with Jimmy Slickballz or Tosh or any other Husky recruiter and vetted what's come out of their mouths.

    Prove it or shut up.

    You're over your skis here

    Recruiting is a contact sport

I don't ski anymore, but it would seem your second comment is commensurate with my hot take.

I'm always happier when we agree.

    Huh?
It was TL;DR poast but most doogs insinuate every time Oregon gets a guy or we lose out on a guy that they got a bag.

    Everyone pays. Even Worshington.

Guess we hit a nerve and someone cares. You always know you've hit home when someone says prove it. Have a nice day.

This sounds familiar. Maybe Wilner was on to something when he implied all the other Pac12 coaches had an axe to grind with Cristoballz

    @insinceredawg twattable?

If true, if USC was USC this wouldn’t have worked. It’s sad to see how far USC has fallen.

Believe's got nothing to do with it.
