No, it's better to cut ties and move on and that's what I expect to happen.whuggy said:

The fact that Lake won't just tell Garbers that Bush is coming back means he's obviously not coming back.
Possible Bush gets one year as QB coach with a new OC?sonics1993 said:
Bush because the OC will now run the offense now that Jimmy is in charge and in no way is Bush ready or capable of that right now. We can get by with Bob as the linebacker coach but we can't with Bush as the OC.whuggy said:
If you could only shitcan one, Bush or Gregory? And why.sonics1993 said:Asked Jimmy Lake what his message has been to UW's offensive commits, when system/staffing questions linger past signing day. Not endorsing it just wondering if it's a scenario. Don't think Huard is tied to him but you never know.DoogDawg said:
I don't want Bush anywhere near our QBs. Browning and Eason both regressed under his tutelage. Bush was a fantastic WR coach when he inherited Ross and Pettis. That's about all he's proven. And I don't see how you can demote a coach and think that will work. Either Bush calls plays or he sells the couch. I'd prefer the latter.whuggy said:

I know nothing but I've been suggesting this guy for a couple of years now, even before we hired Bushwhuggy said:

He isn't a hot rising star, but he has a lot of experience in college and the NFL and does good things at SDSU with less talent than we have.
When he was the QB coach at Wisconsin:
"The quarterbacks during his tenure (Jim Sorgi, Brooks Bollinger, and John Stocco), rank first, second, and fourth in Badgers history in passing yards."
He was also an OL coach in the NFL for the Rams, and did a great job developing some RBs at SDSU as the OC.
Experienced enough to run a good offense without an offensive minded HC.

Hard pass on a guy who flamed out as a head coach before fudgepacker was even born and whose most notable stint this millennium is coaching QBs at the one school in the nation that gives zero fucks about the qb position.MontlakeBridgeTroll said:

We are Wisconsin
Did Horton hear a Who? -
Logically better to remove Bush than Gregory if you can only fire one. But goddamnit Gregory just sucks the life out of me. Please for the love of god fire both. And can we swing for the fences and get a legit OC for once? Christ. If we hire anyone who has ever worked for Peterman before i am burning my trailer to the ground.
