No, had family and a vaca home there for 15 years. It's always been, and still is, a good place to retire. It's just full of shitty little mall rat types of kids and their horrible conceited parents (baseball dads & soccer moms) these days, clogging up the roads, shops, trails, and lift lines at Mt. Bachelor. Yes, I'm biased because I first started going there when the population was about 30k and today its a busy, crowded place that no longer feels like a relaxing place to chill.
