I really just comes down to knocking down open 3’s. He does that and he’s very valuable because he’s good on the break and his defense is obviously superb.

If Adam Baynes can learn to hit an open 3, Thybulle sure as shit can. I can hit an open 3. It’s one of the easiest skills to train.

It's definitely easier, it's certainly not guaranteed as we have seen.
That said Thybulle has good enough form that I expect him to get to 38-40% by his fourth or fifth year in the league.

He's going to be a massive weapon.
I think he has a chance at being their starting 2 by the playoffs. Josh Richardson can be the 6th man. Either way, Thybulle will be getting minutes in the playoffs because I’m pretty sure he’s going to continue to improve.
The NBA is funny because hardly anyone plays defense in the regular season. Suddenly a defensive stopper in the playoffs harassing guys used to easy scoring chances makes a huge difference.

It happens every year in the playoffs to Harden. Suddenly, getting 40 isn’t so easy.
I remember being utterly frustrated by Thybulle his sophomore year. I couldn't understand that someone with his physical tools could be putting up such lousy numbers, not just points, but rebounding. Coaching change was well timed for him. I also felt from an early point, even his freshman year, that the open floor of the NBA he'd be able to have the space utilize his athleticism. Happy he's doing well.

He's playing for Philly ... Simmons, Embid, Harris ... Thybukkakke gets lots of opportunities to play to his strengths and get open looks for threes.
The main thing is proving to his coach that he can play under control ...
