Pete went backwards in order to go forward. He definitely didn’t get the most out of the 2014 team. He was too focused on setting his culture instead of winning games. It worked out but it was very frustrating at the time.
Lake doesn’t have to do any of that. He just has to improve on the foundation already set. The high TBS rankings were the past two years. Those guys should be rounding into form and becoming talented players next season. Some of them are already well on the way. -
