Every good team in modern football throws the ball at a higher clip than they run the ball (running during the blowout phase excluding). Passing is significantly more efficent than running the football. Don’t be FS. How has LSU suddenly become the elite?HuskyJW said:
Throwing the ball wins football games. But don’t be LeachFS with it. -
Sounds like you want to lose football games!HuskyJW said: -
I don't care as much who it is as long as we're done with this multiple bullshit, pick an identity, and recruit to it.

Bush will stay.

3 things happen when you run too. Also 2 are bad. Whoever came up with the original quote was an idiot. We put ourselves in more shitty situations getting behind the sticks this year with crap running plays.HuskyJW said: -

RUN THE BALL!!!!

Yeah, I like running the ball, but this has proven to be true. The game has changed and you do need to throw the ball well or you aren’t going to be good.backthepack said:

Someone on doogman wants to bring in Joel Klatt as the OC. He started out his post by saying, "Here me out on this..."

How about Kendal Briles?
Coached some high-powered O's at Florida Atlantic, Houston and Baylor... was hired by Florida St. but his future is uncertain after Taggart got canned and Mike Norvell was hired. Norvell calls his own plays, could leave the door open for Briles looking elsewhere.
His issue is he was on the Baylor staff during some of the bad stuff that happened under his dad... some FSU fans weren't happy with the hire because of it. -
Jesus christ... do you forget what he did at Baylor?BroadcastingDawg said:How about Kendal Briles?

He wasn't implicated in the scandal and he apparently wasn't involved with the behavior. He was hired by FAU, Houston and FSU... would they hire the guy if he was a culprit in this? I dono.
"Kendal’s experience and background have been thoroughly vetted by the university, including substantive discussions with administrators at Baylor, FAU and Houston," FSU interim athletic director David Coburn wrote to the Sentinel. "Not only did those results reveal him to be a strong candidate, but he received outstanding personal and professional recommendations from each university. We share Coach (Willie) Taggart’s belief that he will be an outstanding addition to his coaching staff.”
Not advocating for him necessarily, just a thought. -
It’s Florida State I’m sure they have a through “vetting” process
-
I suggested his name a few days ago... Might not get his baggage through the gates here, but seems like he might have coaching chops.BroadcastingDawg said:How about Kendal Briles?

How many times has the offense put the defense in a bad position this year....MisterEm said:Bush will stay.
