3 things happen when you run too. Also 2 are bad. Whoever came up with the original quote was an idiot. We put ourselves in more shitty situations getting behind the sticks this year with crap running plays.
It was Woody Hayes you dumb fucking heathen.
Granted the game is different now, but show some fucking respect.
Coached some high-powered O's at Florida Atlantic, Houston and Baylor... was hired by Florida St. but his future is uncertain after Taggart got canned and Mike Norvell was hired. Norvell calls his own plays, could leave the door open for Briles looking elsewhere.
His issue is he was on the Baylor staff during some of the bad stuff that happened under his dad... some FSU fans weren't happy with the hire because of it.

Jesus christ... do you forget what he did at Baylor?

Nobody knows what "he did."
He wasn't implicated in the scandal and he apparently wasn't involved with the behavior. He was hired by FAU, Houston and FSU... would they hire the guy if he was a culprit in this? I dono.
"Kendal’s experience and background have been thoroughly vetted by the university, including substantive discussions with administrators at Baylor, FAU and Houston," FSU interim athletic director David Coburn wrote to the Sentinel. "Not only did those results reveal him to be a strong candidate, but he received outstanding personal and professional recommendations from each university. We share Coach (Willie) Taggart’s belief that he will be an outstanding addition to his coaching staff.”
Not advocating for him necessarily, just a thought.

I suggested his name a few days ago... Might not get his baggage through the gates here, but seems like he might have coaching chops.

We won’t hire him, but who gives a shit? He calls plays. That’s it.

Rape cover ups are one of the few times I would actually care. One of.

He doesn’t kick players off the team. He calls plays. I get he was connected to it in some way, but that’s it.
Considering how much more god awful Arizona has been without Rich Rod he might not be a horrific option. Although Kevin Sumlin might also just be cashing a check and not even trying, so who knows if that’s a good barometer.
"Offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh, widely considered Riley’s most valuable position coach, has a new two-year contract that bumps him from $625,000 to $750,000 beginning next season."
I really wonder if UW is willing to pony up 1.25+ mil for someone like him.
What is a approximate "savings" UW gets with Pete stepping down and the promotion of Lake to HC? Should be plenty of money available with Lakes old salary + Bush salary
