I RESPECT the troops. Trumptards continue to root against the home team. Traitors.

Top military officials threatened to resign or be fired if their plans to remove Chief Gallagher from the SEALs were halted by President Trump, administration officials said.

Maybe they should obey the orders of their commander in chief. Of course they maybe Obama plants like Vindman. If so please resign.

That is a Strawman statement. It is Trump vs the Brass that is being insubordinate.

Top Navy officials threaten to resign if Trump keeps disgraced SEAL Edward Gallagher

I am aware of the importance of process but IMO the Navy is better off without pussies like Richard Spencer, Collin Green and their ilk who would severely punish a decorated Navy Seal for posing with the dead body of a fucking ISIS fighter. Fuck him and his ilk as far as I am concerned.

Navy SEALs have a problem, but it's not my client Edward Gallagher

“Rear Adm. Collin Green was correct when he said “we have a problem” in Naval Special Warfare, but his desire to punish Edward Gallagher is not the solution, it is part of the problem

Just before the trial began, Green touted the results of a study on Navy SEAL culture as “properly balancing a culture of operational excellence with a culture of sound ethical compliance.” After the trial, he reversed himself to say “we have a problem.”

There was not a precipitous deterioration in the culture, but rather the sudden need to find a scapegoat because during the trial, we had exposed massive leadership failures. Instead of learning from mistakes and holding leadership accountable, leadership chose to blame Gallagher and deflect attention from themselves.

Green’s stated goal of restoring good order and discipline is both needed and laudable, but his methods are not. He recalled an entire platoon from Iraq for drinking on base, yet, according to eyewitness statements, both Green and Capt. Matthew Rosenbloom drank in Iraq on prior occasions. Green is under investigation by the inspector general for retaliating against SEALs who consult with attorneys.”

Anonymous sources made a stunning admission to The New York Times that, even after being acquitted, “Green and other Navy leaders were planning to demote (Gallagher) and force him out of the SEALs,” but that they couldn’t execute this unlawful plan because they’re afraid of the president.

If Green really wanted to fix Navy SEAL culture, he should abandon his fixation on punishing Gallagher and instead sit down with him to learn what the real problems are from his deckplate perspective. Gallagher has experienced both the best and the worst aspects of the SEAL culture, but he loves the SEAL teams and would do anything to help them improve.”

A slap on the wrist for the SEAL seems appropriate. Just enough to remind him that we have to be Nebraska classy about bringing violence to our enemies.

I’m not much of a fan of the troops myself. Seems like a place ripe for budget balancing cuts. Along with entitlements. But I digress.

Like I said, Trump hates the troops. I stand with MURICA and the troops. Trumptards continue to root for the away team.

    From his resignation letter: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EKLGysDWoAEwLdS?format=jpg

"The rule of law is what sets us apart from our adversaries. Good order and discipline is what has enabled our victory against foreign tyranny time and again, from Captain Lawrence's famous order "Don't Give up the Ship", to the discipline and determination that propelled our flag to the highest point on Iwo Jima. The Constitution, and the Uniform Code of Military Justice, are the shields that set us apart, and the beacons that protect us all. Through my Title Ten Authority, I have strived to ensure that our proceeding are fair, transparent and consistent, from the newest recruit to the Flag and General Officer live.

Unfortunately it has become apparent that in the respect, I no longer share the same understanding with the Commander in Chief who appointed me, in regards to the key principle of good order and discipline. I cannot in good conscience obey an order that I believe violates the sacred oath I took in the presence of my family, my flag and my faith to support and defend the Constitution of the United States."
