I still don't understand how someone passes up the chance to play in the Rose Bowl with your teammates.

The narrative that Rapp faked his injury may be my least favorite thing about this place in the last year. No evidence thereof, but some of you were seemingly 100% convinced very quickly.

It's not Rapp's fault, trailing 14-3 with 1:30 in the half that Pete/Bush call 3 pass plays, punt and give Urbs the ball back on the 50 yd line with 1 min left and 2 time outs. No one knows the real story with Rapp. I do think there's something though to Kid's shutting it down at the end of their college careers to save it for the NFL. Sucks but there's a lot of $$ on the line. -

He practiced all week and was fine
He wanted a free vacation to Southern California and get the Rose Bowl experience without actually having to play and support his teammates. Speaks volumes about him as a person.

I don’t doubt he was a little bit hurt, but not enough to not give it a go in the Rose Bowl. We very well could have lost because he sat out and the implication that Pete can’t win a big game wouldn’t be nearly as strong. Hard to say tho because Ohio State did let up late.
