It is odd. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's honestly the grind of it all. Football is 24/7 for those guys at the highest levels.

Some people have 100% of the talent but 90% of the constitution to maintain ultimate success.

In many jobs people can mail it home or call in sick, take a mental health day ... but we expect these guys to be coaching nonstop and then shift to high level recruiting all the fucking time.

That's some draining shit ... and if he has any semblance of humanity and want to see his kids grow up and such being burnt out is normal.
