Clearing up some fake news

Minnesota caught the attention of the pod cast a few years back as an example of a once legendary program that started losing and never stopped; I always said their last shot was losing to UW in the Rose Bowl. Turns out Minnesota came back the next year and beat UCLA in the Rose Bowl then disappeared for several decades.

All those National Championships on their stadium were done without any bowl game. UW was their first Rose Bowl and bowl game. The Big 10 thought they were above bowl games and even after the 1948 agreement to play in the Rose Bowl they wouldn't send a team twice in a row.

Anyway, the Gophers are BACK. Imagine being one of their fans yesterday. Pretty coool
