What happened? Did a communist win?

    Nope. Quite the opposite.

Sawant got her walking papers and the socialist running in my district got his shit pushed in.

Plus I’ll get to save over $1000 in car tabs now.

    Affirmative action also defeated.

    Good day for rational people.
    Ok, good!

Sounds like the classical liberals prevailed.

It was great Tommy to see Kuntshama go down. Fuck that bitch. But was disappointed to see Deborah Jaurez get elected in my district (4). Her response when I sent letter about bums is that's it is a "cost of living" issue.

Fuck Tim Hymen and his stolen office chair. Seriously. The net increase in cost to transit projects already in the pipeline will be in the hundreds of millions of dollars (or more) and will come directly out of our pockets. Thanks Tim you embezzling fraud. The impact from transit cuts and deferred maintenance whether measured in increased cost over time or lost productivity will be massive. Construction jobs? Affordable housing? Air quality? Small business opportunity in urban villages? ....all negatively impacted. Brilliant. Just fucking brilliant.

I voted against $30 tabs. As a landowner with property near light rail I stand to make YUGE capital gains.

    Aren't tabs used on cars?

    Not busses

The state has to extort money out west for transit because no one uses it

    Unless they have to

It’s a local tax. People not in the transit region don’t pay it.

At the end of the day, I drive and old car with low fees. Only my wife gets to have new things so she has to deal with it.

Our station is almost open. I’m not worried.
