Does the Beav beat UW this Friday?

It's hilarious to think about, but no chance. The Beavers have won 3 out 4, but those wins have come against UCLA when they were struggling, and a currently reeling Kal and Arizona. The last team they played with a pulse plungered them 52-7 at home no less.
The Beavers will score points, because Washington's defense is the softest it's been in 5 years, but that won't be enough. Oregon St. still can't stop anybody.

I agree with your take but the only wild card for me is how deflated UW might be with last week's loss and the realization that this season for them is all but done. Beav's have to be geeked up for this game.greenblood said:It's hilarious to think about, but no chance. beavermobile (RIP) finds your lack of faith disturbing.
Beavis at their best when everyone expects them to get plungered.
Arizona isn't *that* bad. It was a road game. Ducks will be fortunate to put up 48 on UA. They've had our? number, esp when weve been top 10 (lost 3 of 4)
Huskies looking ahead to Redbox Bowl.
What's the spread? I dont even have to look to know it's too high; take Beavis and the points. -
Washington is the 2nd toughest game on the Beavers' schedule at this point. I would love nothing more than for the Beavers to shock the northwest with a W on Friday. I just don't see it happening. If I happen to be wrong, I'll be the happiest Quook on this thread. A UW loss would definitely hurt recruiting.flatus said:beavermobile (RIP) finds your lack of faith disturbing.

A thread about UW and OSU started in the Duck forum. Okay.SFGbob said:I wouldn't have thought it possible just a few weeks ago, now I'm not sure. It's a game that UW should win, but I can see them dropping this game. All the enthusiasm is on the side of the Beav.

Sad!
@DerekJohnson set them free! -
Beavs have two off the best backs in the PAC 12. They have arguably the best receiver and a decent QB.. Their defense will be the key. The Beavs have one of the best pass rushers in the PAC but other than that it’s pretty poor. I see the Beavs pulling an upset in Corn Valley. Win or lose Smith has them trending in the right direction.
-
The fact that they get them at home, short week for Washington coming off a hard hitting game against Utah, Beavs will be highly motivated, UW playing out the string on what has to be a disappointing season, maybe a little doubt starting to creep in about the coaching staff with the players, Beavs might be able to steal one here.DJDuck said:Beavs have two off the best backs in the PAC 12. However the buttsniffers have a lot to play for............ that coveted 4th place in the North Trophy and their march towards bowl eligibility. It’s what every Husky recruit dreamed for whe they signed with the Dawgs.

UW wins. Beavs are too bad on defense to get a win.
However, I wouldn’t be completely shocked if the Beavs won a shootout. I don’t think it’s likely tho. -

All depends on if older players are checking out (those without pro aspirations ... and that happens ... not saying it is so don’t twist)
Reality is that when we’ve been punched in the mouth we’ve struggled to respond
I suspect the Beavs will start fast -
Peterson hasnt faced a 4-5 boov since he arrived
Smith will be out for blood
Script is mixed here. -
It's hard

This is EXACTLY the type of game that OSU won the year before they really popped off under Mike Reilly Parts I and II and Denny. A big upset against a reeling conference power.
-
UW jumps to a 49-7 lead then hangs on to lose 52-49
-
I like UW in this tilt.
-
I predict I will be watching the basketball game instead
-
Are they the Baylor Beavs now?
Either way, I think we win rather easily, say 76-58 -
I watched some of the youtube highlights from the OSU games against UCLA & Zona.
OSU is going to eat our ILBs alive... they seem to love attacking that part of the field already, and given how much our ILBs suck... we might be doomed. -
The Beavs are going to put points on the board, but they have yet to stop anybody this year. I'll be shocked if UW wins by anything less than double digits.
The spread looks to be -10. I'm going to put some money on that before it gets pushed up to 12-12.5 -
This thread literally made me laugh so hard I nearly cried.
