Coaching staff sleeping in the offices update

I'm sure they did. But what was their conclusion? Was there a resolution? Or is Pete going to staunchly stick to his process?
Is breaking down every single game going to help Pete not make bonehead gametime decisions? -
There are obvious things that don’t require any film. Manu shouldn’t play. We are much worse with him on the field. The young WR’s have earned reps. Don’t run wildcat. Even with Newton, just give him the ball on a hand off.

I liked wildcat with Gaskin because Browning couldn’t check out of the run play.RoadDawg55 said:There are obvious things that don’t require any film. Manu shouldn’t play. Now that we have a real qb I agree I don’t really see the point. -
This is full on bitching to bitch ... I’d be far more concerned if they didn’t do this

Pete peddled the same tired bullshit after the Rows Bowel. Nothing changed.
This off-season is Pete’s last chance to prove he’s willing to do what it takes. If Bob Gregory is still here next year... and Bush Hamden hasn’t been replaced by an OC way the fuck outside of the Boise coaching tree, then we’ll have our answer.
Either way it will be interesting. Or it won’t. That Stanford disaster killed my optimism for the future of husky football under Pete. We’ll be good most of the time, sometimes we’ll be mediocre, but we’ll never be great. -
It just comes across as more lip service from Pete. If we? don't see a change in the games remaining, then they wasted their time breaking down games.Tequilla said:This is full on bitching to bitch ... I’d be far more concerned if they didn’t do this

I agree that they should chart plays and see which players are most effective. The stats on Manu were damming in the Oregon game. We were a lot worse with him on the field.Tequilla said:This is full on bitching to bitch ... I’d be far more concerned if they didn’t do this
Kind of like +/- in basketball. Gotta find out which guys are actually producing, especially at positions where we rotate like DL, WR, and LB. We gotta get the best combinations on the field.
I’m bitching a little because the coaches don’t need to get too analytical. That’s been a problem. Some of the fixes are simple. -
What are the chances that we ? hear that shit again, in two weeks?YellowSnow said:I'm hearing the coaching staff is working harder than ever!!

Shit no need for all that work.
Opera, Manu clean out your lockers.... Eason, call your own plays. Jimmy get some fucking pressure on the QB.... -
Gonna get run over on Saturday....then an epic collapse on a short week in Corvallis
Get the lube -

and then they got Pete's chart out and also they took their breakdown of practice performances and....

Quite honestly, I’m surprised they still have offices.

To me, it doesn't matter what Peterman says.YellowSnow said:I'm hearing the coaching staff is working harder than ever!!
It's obvious that their ability to assess and interpret good football is far from optimal.
It's like having my 12 year old reviewing his older brother's math homework. The numbers may look familiar but in the end they don't fucking understand shit!
Review baccelia's "contribution" ... How about Manu being lost 95% of the time? And he's currently being listed as starter for the Utah game? Hey? Really? ... The stupidness just goes on . -
Im finally done I broke down every single play of the season from 9 angles.......yep..........our players are bad...................
-
I'm pretty fired up about the new depth chart but there's no possible way it's accurate. Which drives me to my next point... Why the fuck isn't it? What's the strategy here? How much do you want to piss off fans and your players by shoving this cruel joke in our faces weekly? This shit alienates fans and players because it is a public display of retardation. You think this depth chart motivates the young WR when they're STILL seeing their names under Baccellia and Chico, the guy who fucked up his leg and sucks ass? I'd be laughing if I were Puka. I for one would be more motivated if the depth chart was fluid and I moved to the top. I'd ball out to prove I belong there. I would too. I'm really good at college football and I want to be the best.animate said:

I really don't understand the strategy here. There's no way this shit is looked at seriously by other coaches so I don't understand why they keep rolling it out. Mix it up at least if you're scared that you're giving away strategy. Spoiler: you're not. Give us something that shows you're cognizant of good and deserving play/shitty play. Show me you don't have blinders on. Fucking hell. -
I do think we will lose another game. Just not sure which one.?HuskyJW said:Gonna get run over on Saturday....then an epic collapse on a short week in Corvallis

Not even close to the case ...
It’s not like new pieces are going to magically show up next week -
The casual fan has little idea who sucks ... there are people that think Manu is good
-
we? need an english major to parse that sentence.
What I got was the "coaches broke down every game" - all the other stuff is not required.
I am waiting for @YellowSnow to change the title to "coaching staff sleeping during every game" -
I'm going to have to see results before I believe coach speak like thisYellowSnow said:I'm hearing the coaching staff is working harder than ever!!

That sort of analytics should be done by the army of GAs and support staff, and already in hand.RoadDawg55 said:

I thought that's what the off-season is for!!YellowSnow said:I'm hearing the coaching staff is working harder than ever!!

There isnt anyone carrying a standard amount of chromosomes that thinks that Manu is good.Tequilla said:The casual fan has little idea who sucks ... there are people that think Manu is good

I think even doogs who have a hard time criticizing anyone see that he sucks. At least the majority of them.Tequilla said:The casual fan has little idea who sucks ... there are people that think Manu is good

Hey Pete, here are some things I found while reviewing the season. Maybe, I don't know, you could fucking fix this?YellowSnow said:I'm hearing the coaching staff is working harder than ever!!
35-99 (35%) on 3rd Downs overall
17-66 (26%) on 3rd Downs in conference
19-35 (54%) Touchdown Percentage in Red Zone overall
09-20 (45%) Touchdown Percentage in Red Zone in conference -
BYU and Eastern to the PAC 14?DoogCourics said:

Is it taking so long because of surface area, or they're replete with hard to reach places?joeEDangerously said: -

even three......
I know we have Ute, Beavers, and Cougits left.
I don't care enough to look up the other school.
Don't care much if it's the Alamo, Holiday, Netflix, or Toilet Bowl at this point. -
Replace Pete's name with Sark and we're here chortling and crowing right now.YellowSnow said:I'm hearing the coaching staff is working harder than ever!!
