Why? Is there evidence that three star kids flip more frequently? Honestly, anecdotally I would think the opposite. Four and five star guys seem much more likely to flip. Obviously part of that is they are more heavily pursued, but I also think the mentality of kids who have been stars most of their young lives makes them more susceptible to the next great pitch.greenblood said:
It depends on the time table. He would probably go after them for a couple of reasons.RoadDawg55 said:
Possible but if Meyer was hired at USC, they are putting the full court press on the best available players in the country. National recruiting from his ties in the Midwest and Florida. I think they will be going after bigger names than Esteen and Jackson.bananasnblondes said:
If SC makes a good coaching hire, Esteen and Jackson might both flip there.DoogWhisperer said:I saw Sa'Vell and Hatchett remain solid but I did see that Esteen was at USC this weekend. I hope the coaches let him...
1) The current class is very small, and will need capable bodies to fill it
2) It's a lot easier to flip high end three star guys than four and five star guys.
And Urban's a master of that pitch.
Not saying he couldn't flip Esteen and Smith if he were at SC, don't twist. Just saying I do think he could flip more heavily pursued guys. -
I'm thinking many of these kids don't have as many offers as the others.dnc said:

Sounds like Washington is not a cool place to go if you’re not winning 10 games a year. Better nut up and close out the season well.
-
They won’t have to flip all that many guys. They will go after the best available players after the first signing day. A lot of big recruits wait until the last second to drive up interest and secure the biggest bag.greenblood said:

Right now I expect Makell Esteen to be the next decommit. Jimmy has some work to do

Is it because lake is leaving? Or because will harris to busy coaching DB tackling techniques and not recruiting???sonics1993 said:Right now I expect Makell Esteen to be the next decommit. Jimmy has some work to do

It’s possible that a world could exist... -
That’s not good. I’m having a hard time caring tho because we suck now. Most the misses aren’t felt for a few years anyway.sonics1993 said:Right now I expect Makell Esteen to be the next decommit. Jimmy has some work to do

yes and the self-awareness at a school like washington needs to spot on. the fact that we've been very good for 5 years and have been putting guys in the nfl on par with Bama and Clemson gets immediately lost on socal recruits when we aren't a top 15 team and the mere thought of USC having a better coach in the next couple of years exists.RoadDawg55 said:

WTF is up with the DBs?
-
The whole thing where all the dbs committed within 3 days of each other didnt seem right. Jimmy has, so far, been able to pull db classes out of his ass in December so hopefully he is gonna put his recruiting cap on.BeerThirty said:WTF is up with the DBs?
