The script says we? lose to Worshington but win the Pac-12 while UW finishes forf in the norf. Should make for a lit offseason.

If we aren't at least +2 in the turnover margin Zero's win comfortably.

We will line up one of our Safeties in Tacoma all game, and b/c of our overall LB play Mario will be more than happy taking 4-5 yards every run.

We watched what Cal/Stanford did with their QB's/wr's and they are the jv version of Oregon.

Getting our shit shoved in, and it being done by our rival is going to be a whole different level of trigger. Good news is I will have had 3 weeks to get ready to for it.

I don’t think he’s a good coach. But if I apply to Petersen the same measures I apply cystalball, Petersen sucks just as much. Maybe worse.

Pete is objectively a good corch who’s won a lot at two programs. Something that almost no one has done. But like 99% of his peers he is a moron on occasion.

I think "coach" is a tweener role when it comes to Pete where he's an elite CEO but not an elite manager (the word baseball uses for coach).

I wonder why that would be.

And remind me, what position did Peterman play?

    There's this:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Petersen
"Born and raised in Yuba City, California, Petersen played safety and quarterback for the Honkers at Yuba City High School. After graduation in 1983, he played quarterback for the Sacramento City College Panthers for two seasons, then transferred to non-scholarship UC Davis, then in Division II. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1988 and a master's degree in education from UC Davis."

I wish I played for a team called the Honkers.

Mario’s a shit coach but he does run the ball and realizes the importance of having a good OL.

So, how is he a shit coach?

We talk about discipline a lot around here, measured largely by penalties. He improved Oregon by night and day measures his first year and has continued that into this season.

Your reference to running the ball and O line.

And we talk about leveling up ... well we did before it became a punchline. He's recruited well.

Yeah there have been a few calls here and there that go into the game management category, but he's a young HC and you see that happen even with great coaches.

He inherited a program in a death spiral. Third coach in three seasons. He managed a disgruntled D coordinator and replaced him with an ace hire that has led to one of the better Duck defenses I've seen in a long time.

The Arroyo thing is worth watching but I'm not entirely sold that some of their issues relate to limited personnel in the passing game and limited talent in the running back ranks. Those are holes that recruiting needs to fill but this is his second season. I say again, second season.

At the very best, you don't have enough of a sample to conclude he's a shit coach.

    Weird take old man.

This has been my position from the beginning and I took a lot of shit for it. I'm just questioning the take. The answer seems hard to come by round here. Critique all you want. Not my boyfriend. Just bring something to the table.

I agree with creep’s take on Cristoballz. He appears to “get it” but there is still half a season to go and he hasn’t proven shit. I think creep would agree with that. See you at Dreamkiller Field at Huskie Stadium bitch.
