    It’s damned near a war zone right now. Over a number of human rights issues and violations of the agreements related to the transition to Chinese rule. They want to go back to being a British colony ASAP.

    The human rights issues have largely to do with the police treatment of protesters protesting the extradition bill. There are some seeking democratic reforms, but this is and mostly has been about extradition.
